This is a small part of a drawing done with Prismacolor pencils on Strathmore Toned Tan Paper. I really like working on this toned paper.

Three Small Apples

Close grouping of apples, 6x8

The first painting I've done since March or so. The first painting in the new studio.
I think the close proximity of the apples reflects my longing to be near those that I love.
Social isolation to avoid Covid-19 is getting difficult to bear.

Still Life in Winter Light

I revisited this painting and made significant changes.  Sometimes it just takes a while to see what a piece needs. I had to sit with this one for a while. Now it is what I want it to be. 12x12, oil on linen panel.
