I'm pleased to say that this painting was juried into the American Impressionist Society 2022 All Member Online Exhibition.  Of 1,613 artworks submitted, 260 were accepted.  I'm honored that this was one of them.                

Garden sketch

 

Since I last posted, I’ve finished some commissioned work, including the largest painting I’ve ever done. After the commissions, I needed some time to experiment with new ideas. Of course, daily sketching is a constant. Here is a sketch of cosmos from my garden.

Three Small Apples

        The first painting I've done since March or so. The first painting in the new studio. 

         I think the close proximity of the apples reflects my longing to be near those that I love.

         Social isolation to avoid Covid-19 is getting difficult to bear.
